Airbus UK responsible for:

• Design and manufacture of wings for all Airbus models.
• Overall design and supply of the fuel and landing gear systems.

Role in DRESS

• Subproject leader for WP200.
• Define the steering system specification at A/C level. (Task leader for WP210.)
• Define the assessment criteria & test programme. (WP220)
• Provide expertise from previous or existing programmes of research in electromechanical actuation and landing gear systems. (WP310)
• Lead the modelling aspects of the programme. (Task leader for WP710.)
• Assess the new steering system. (Task leader for WP740.)
• All tests will be performed in accordance with the requirements defined at the beginning of the project.
