- AIC is a French SAS (Société Anonyme Simplifiée) composed of four subsidiaries:

AIRBUS Spain
AIRBUS UK
Airbus UK responsible for:
- Design and manufacture of wings for all Airbus models.
- Overall design and supply of the fuel and landing gear systems.
Role in DRESS
- Subproject leader for WP200.
- Define the steering system specification at A/C level. (Task leader for WP210.)
- Define the assessment criteria & test programme. (WP220)
- Provide expertise from previous or existing programmes of research in electromechanical actuation and landing gear systems. (WP310)
- Lead the modelling aspects of the programme. (Task leader for WP710.)
- Assess the new steering system. (Task leader for WP740.)
- All tests will be performed in accordance with the requirements defined at the beginning of the project.
